Mandap Floral Trends for 2024

The world of weddings is ever-evolving and over the summer, we’ve seen lots of colourful mandap styles popping up. As we start to make plans for 2024 and update our wedding decor stock to make sure that we can offer the latest styles and colours to our couples, it is very timely to share the enchanting colour palette trends that are set to dominate indian weddings in 2024.

Ethereal Neutrals

Neutral tones are a timeless classic, and 2024 is no exception. Soft shades like blush, ivory, and dove grey continue to be popular choices for brides looking to create an ethereal and timeless mandap design. These neutral hues provide a perfect canvas against the bright red/colourful tones of indian bridalwear. The use of subtle metallic accents, such as rose gold or champagne, add a touch of luxury and glamour to the overall mandap design.

Vibrant Jewel Tones

Jewel tones are making a comeback in a big way. Deep emerald greens, rich sapphire blues, and regal amethyst purples are being incorporated into mandap colour palettes to infuse celebrations with opulence and sophistication. These bold hues can be paired with gold accents to create a lavish atmosphere and then later easily be transferred to your reception decor. Jewel tones also work exceptionally well for fall and winter weddings, adding warmth and depth to the festivities.

Modern Monochromes

Monochromatic colour schemes are taking on a contemporary twist in 2024. We saw some of this in 2023 with brides requesting the elegance of a single colour in varying shades and tones. For instance, a palette of various shades of rose pink, from delicate pink blush to bold fuchsia, can create a cohesive and visually striking wedding aesthetic. One trend that works well when using a monochromatic pallet is ombre styling of your florals. Monochromatic designs allow for a seamless flow of colour throughout the event, from invitations and mandap florals arrangements to bridesmaids’ dresses and table settings.

Earthy and Organic

With an increasing emphasis on sustainability and connection to nature, earthy tones are gaining prominence in bridal colour choices. Olive greens, warm terracottas, and sandy beiges resonate with couples seeking a rustic yet refined atmosphere. These colours are often complemented by natural textures like wooden elements, dried flowers and foliage, and stone accents. We’re definitely already seeing a lot of dried flower mandap designs and this design is not going anywhere for 2024. This palette not only looks stunning but also aligns with the growing eco-consciousness of modern weddings.

Serene Blues

Blues: Soft and serene shades of blue are predicted to be a top choice for brides aiming for a tranquil and soothing ambiance. Sky blue, powder blue, and dusty blue evoke feelings of calmness and tranquillity, setting the tone for a relaxed and joyful celebration. The Italian, amalfi coast blue and yellow vibe is also trending and we’ve had a few requests for mandap florals in blues and yellows with lemons!

Unexpected Pops of Colour

In a departure from traditional mandap colour palettes, many couples are opting for unexpected pops of vibrant and playful shades. Think tangerine oranges, electric pinks, and sunshine yellows. These daring accents inject energy and excitement into the wedding, infusing it with the couple’s unique personality and style.

As couples venture into 2024 with the excitement of their upcoming weddings, these captivating colour palettes offer endless inspiration for mandap florals and designs. Whether you choose to embrace the elegance of neutrals, the richness of jewel tones, the modern twist of monochromes, or the serenity of blues, there’s a palette to suit your vision.

Typically, we work on colours and designs once outfits have been purchased. It’s important to ensure the couple don’t drown into the mandap but stand-out and so we work together to bring the vision to life with photography and design principals in mind.mWe look forward to working with our couples to bring the latest colour palettes to life in 2024.
