From Hayes To Northamptonshire
Why did we move and where do we now “live”?
A lot of you have seen our Instagram stories over the last month and asked us why we’ve moved and what does it mean for our couples. To help answer the question I thought I’d tell you a little about the back story on our move and how we ended up in Northamptonshire.
Back in 2019, Henesh and I learned that I was pregnant with our first child! We were super excited (also a bit petrified) but realised quickly that we needed more space as our family was about to grow. With family already in Wellingborough, we decided that it was time to exit London and search for a home outside where we could raise our family.
In October 2019, we packed up our home in Uxbridge and moved to Wellingborough!
It was a huge jump for me since I was a London girl born and bred. Henesh too. But the move needed to happen.
What did this mean for Red Pearl Creations?
The plan was always to move the warehouse closer to our stomping grounds. However, the world had other plans. With the pandemic hitting us hard in early 2020 (literally a few weeks after our baby boy was born) we were stuck. Events being cancelled, as the world figured out what the pandemic meant and how to navigate it, meant that our plans for Red Pearl Creations were on hold.
As the industry revived, we had a busy 2021/2022 but quickly learned that driving back and forth between Hayes and Wellingborough was not feasible. The late-night graveyard shifts became even more painful with the added hour and a half journey, and we needed to move our warehouse quickly.
Where are we now?
Fast forward to December 2022 and we’ve now moved across to a space in the Brudenell Estate, home to the lovely Deene Park, in Northamptonshire.
Which areas do we serve?
Despite our move to Northamptonshire, our business continues to deliver mandaps, event décor and planning services to London, Northamptonshire, and the surrounding areas. In fact, we have a packed schedule for 2023 in areas including Surrey, Essex, London, Northamptonshire, and beyond. So please do get in touch with your enquiries.
