Froyle Park – Will-ow you marry me?
At the beginning of June 2023, we went back to one of our old-time favourite venues, Froyle Park , to dress the ballroom with a new concept willow mandap and reception florals.
In this blog we will share some images from the event photographer Nishit Parmar , and then share some of our key considerations when planning a wedding at Froyle Park.
The ballroom has a low ceiling height in places. There are areas of the room that have a larger floor to ceiling measure where the mandap is best placed. Consider this and remember to ask this question when you meet with your wedding planner. The mandap sits beautifully under the chandelier by the french windowsThe beautiful Bride and Groom, Bhavini and Harshil, came to us back in 2022 after hearing about us on the Asian Bride Sorority chat forum. (By the way, if you aren’t signed up, I highly recommend it – a place where you can get unbiased views directly from other brides going through the same planning process).
We, together with Bhavini, designed a willow mandap concept from a few base pictures that she shared with us. She created a Pinterest album to organise her thoughts and over the course of a couple of consultations we confirmed the willow concept mandap and ideas for florals.
For the evening reception, we decided to utilise the florals we had from the mandap and repurpose them for the head tables and centre-pieces.
Here are a few top tips if you are considering having your wedding and reception at Froyle Park:
Ceiling height

Sound limitations
Froyle Park is situated amongst residential properties. It’s recommended to check any restrictions on sound limitations with your DJ and make sure they’re comfortable with the levels to give you the optimum event ambience.
Vendor access
Access to the bandstand and the house itself is very easy. Suppliers have an easy to find delivery area where they can park, unload their goods, and move. There’s plenty of space there for decor, DJ and catering to offload side by side. Entry and load access to the ballroom is a small walk to the house and down a short corridor but the venue provide brilliant Trolleys that help smooth and rapid transfer of goods.
Supplier room
This was a personal favourite for us as a decor supplier. The venue have a private room with comfortable sofas and tables where suppliers can relax before a de-rig. I know Henesh appreciated the nap before the night shift and drive back!
