​Aisle way decoration is so often overlooked.

Typically I find our bride and grooms very focused on the mandap itself. But, when it comes to planning your wedding, the aisle way serves as a focal point that sets the stage for the mandap. Decorating your aisleway with lush greenery, romantic petals, dreamy floral pedestals, rustic crates, or a mix of florals can create a breathtaking ambiance. Here, we will share five things that may provoke your decor thoughts, and get you on a journey to designing the perfect aisleway.

​Colour Palette

Select a colour palette that complements your overall wedding theme. For a lush and romantic look, consider using soft, pastel shades such as blush, ivory, pale pink, or lavender. These colours create a dreamy atmosphere and blend beautifully with greenery and floral arrangements. Keep in mind that less is often more, so opt for two or three primary colours and incorporate them throughout your aisle decor.

A Touch of Greenery

At Red Pearl Creations we love working with greenery and foliage as it adds a touch of freshness and natural beauty to any mandap aisleway. Adorn your aisleway with lush green foliage garlands, which can be draped along the sides or hung from the chairs. Eucalyptus, ferns, or ivy are excellent choices for creating a romantic and organic atmosphere. One of the most classic and romantic ways to decorate your mandap aisle way is by scattering petals along the path. Floral pedestals can be  statement pieces to add a touch of grandeur to your mandap aisleway. You can place pedestals at the beginning and end of the aisle to create a stunning focal point, as well as dotted around throughout the middle. You can include abundant arrangements of your chosen flowers, incorporating your colour palette and greenery. As you and the family walk down the aisle way this will create some stunning photo opportunities. 

Rustic Crates for Vintage Charm

If you are looking for a touch of rustic charm, incorporate vintage wooden crates into your mandap aisleway. Arrange the crates along the sides of the aisle and fill them with flowers, greenery, candles or even plants. Use a mix of wildflowers, such as daisies, lavender, or sunflowers, to create a whimsical and natural look. To create height, flip the crates upside down and place your arrangements on top. This mix of florals and rustic elements will add warmth and character to your ceremony space, creating a romantic and relaxed ambiance.
